Welcome!

If you're on this site, then you or your student is probably struggling in their studies. On the other hand, maybe you or they are just needing a little extra attention to the details of their course. Whatever the case, I make a personal promise to my students to help them understand their studies better and cater my tutoring methods and efforts to their needs. What I offer to students is a personal touch and interest in their studies and success, and this is not something that's available with a big business, brand name tutoring company.

How I Work

First, I ask that you email or text me if you are interested in private tutoring. I will ask a few questions about what you need and let you know my current availability to get a session booked. I will also ask for a good email for you/your student so I can send them the zoom link for our sessions. Our first session, I will introduce myself, get through some logistics and then begin the session. I use zoom for the meetings and I use OneNote as my virtual whiteboard while sharing my screen. After the session we can talk about scheduling details and payment options (I use PayPal and Venmo for now). I will also email the link to the OneNote I have created for the student so that they can access any and all notes I've taken and any problems we've worked through. As a personal tutor, I focus on the curriculum of the individual student. For younger students (elementary/middle school) I ask that parents let me know ahead of time what subjects their student is working on so I can find appropriate learning tools for them. For the older students, I will ask them directly to send me their homework/course outline/school work ahead of time as well. I have an open door policy when it comes to questions outside of tutoring sessions, just send me a text or email and I'll try to answer as soon as possible!!

Hopefully this gives the full picture, but if you have any other questions about how I tutor, please reach out!
